Ingredients
- 250 g butter (room temperature)
- 180 g granulated sugar
- 60 g almond powder
- 200 g eggs (approximately 4 eggs, room temperature)
- 200 g all-purpose flour
- 4 g baking powder
- 10 g vanilla flavoring
- 160 gr Innova Choco Chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 165–170°C (329–338°F). Grease a Gugelhupf pan with butter and lightly dust it with flour to prevent sticking.
- Beat the butter and granulated sugar on medium speed until the mixture becomes light, pale, and fluffy.
- Add the almond powder and mix until well combined.
- Gradually add the eggs while mixing continuously until fully incorporated. Add the vanilla flavoring and mix well.
- Sift together the all-purpose flour and baking powder, then gently fold the dry ingredients into the batter until no streaks of flour remain.
- Fold in the 160 g Innova Chocolate Chips until evenly distributed throughout the batter. The chocolate chips are added before baking to ensure they are incorporated into every slice.
- Pour the batter into the prepared Gugelhupf pan and level the surface.
- Bake for 45–55 minutes, or until a skewer inserted into the cake (avoiding the chocolate chips) comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before unmolding. Transfer to a wire rack and allow it to cool completely.
