- 3 whole eggs
- 3 egg yolks
- 10 g Innova Cake Emulsifier
- 50 g granulated sugar
- 50 g all-purpose flour
- 10 g milk powder
- 15 g cornstarch
- 60 g butter
- 10 g mocha paste
Topping - Buttercream as needed
- Innova Choco Rice as needed
- Innova Choco Chips as needed for decoration
Instructions
- Prepare a baking pan by lightly greasing it with butter and lining it with baking paper. Preheat the oven to 170°C.
- Add the whole eggs, egg yolks, granulated sugar, Innova Cake Emulsifier, sifted flour, milk powder, and cornstarch into a mixing bowl.
- Beat on high speed until the batter becomes thick, pale, and reaches ribbon stage.
- Take a small portion of the batter and mix it with the melted butter and mocha paste.Stir until well combined.
- Pour the butter and mocha mixture back into the main batter. Fold gently until the batter is fully combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan, then gently tap the pan to release air bubbles.
- Bake at 170°C for about 30–35 minutes or until fully cooked.
- Once baked, let the cake cool completely.
- Spread buttercream on top of the cake as desired.
- Sprinkle Innova Choco Rice evenly over the top.
- Decorate the cake with buttercream, then add Innova Choco Chips to create a flower-like decoration
