Ingredients
- 200 g margarine
- 100 g butter
- 200 g powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp vanilla essence
- 160 g egg whites
- 200 g low-protein flour (cake flour)
- 80 g cornstarch
- 40 g milk powder
- 100 g Innova Choco Rice
Instructions
- Combine margarine, butter, and powdered sugar. Mix at medium speed until smooth and well combined (no need to overwhip).
- Add the vanilla essence and mix well.
- Pour in the egg whites gradually while mixing on low speed.Make sure the batter stays smooth and does not curdle.
- Sift together the flour, cornstarch, and milk powder.Add to the batter and mix gently (using a spatula or low speed) until combined.
- Add Innova Choco Rice. Fold in the chocolate sprinkles until evenly distributed.
- Transfer the batter into a piping bag. Pipe onto a cat tongue cookie tray (no need to grease if non-stick).
- Bake at 150–160°C for 20–25 minutes, or until the edges turn golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool completely to achieve a crispy texture.
